Jean Mazzei is an award winning songwriter, whose music has been described as “caffeinated folk rock, eclectic and smart.” Her newest CD, “Breathing Under Water,” was released to national radio this year, and has been added to over 70 stations. Aside from her regular shows in San Francisco , she has performed in NYC, Chicago , LA , and Phoenix , and is delighted to add Seattle and Portland to the list. Her live performances are captivating, and audience members delight in her fun personality, great songwriting, and expressive vocals.

  “Breathing Under Water,” her latest release, was produced by Ronan Chris Murphy (Veneto West, LA), who has worked with King Crimson and Tool (to name a few), and features Grammy winner G.E. Stinson from Shawdowfax, as well as members from Los Lobos, Jason Mraz, and the Beastie Boys.
